David Blitz is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of BlitzLake. Mr. Blitz has interests in real estate development, hospitality, fitness, and trading industries.
Over the past decade, Mr. Blitz has played a key role in the the financing and development for over $3 billion in ground up construction and most recently has been focusing on developing real estate in Chicago's River North, Lakeview, and Lincoln Park neighborhoods. In 2013, he completed the redevelopment and lease-up of Tokyo Rose’s old Toguri building at 851 W. Belmont Ave and is currently working on various mixed use projects across Chicago including the development of 3200 N Clark, which when completed at the northwest corner of Clark and Belmont, will encompass 40,000sf of prime retail space, 90 residential units, and 40 parking spaces.
In 2012 Mr. Blitz helped co-found River North’s Untitled Restaurant and Speakeasy and in 2014, Mr. Blitz co-founded Studio Three, a boutique fitness studio with a flagship location in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Studio Three features, among other things, a revolutionary Peloton indoor-cycling studio, heated yoga, and high intensity interval training classes with a full service juice bar, Real Good Juice Company, and spa-like locker rooms.
Mr. Blitz received a BBA from The University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross Business School, where he graduated with Highest Distinction. He is currently active in the University of Michigan Alumni Association and Stephen M. Ross School of Business Alumni Association Club.
